Leaders are known to be busy driving performance, building culture, setting direction, managing stakeholders and leading teams. This is complex, challenging and crucial work that doesn’t happen in isolation. Many leaders benefit from the clarity and energy that comes from having an experienced, highly qualified coach to help them maximise their impact and stretch their thinking.  The Harvard Business Review highlights that coaching can unleash innovation, energy, and commitment by encouraging problem-solving and employee development.  1

At IECL our vision is to collaborate closely with our vast community of alumni, clients, and partners to make a significant impact through coaching, and empower leaders to incorporate coaching principles into their leadership style. As part of our commitment to supporting our community, IECL partnered with Cancer Council NSW to provide 15 leaders with pro bono coaching. The program is an opportunity for the Cancer Council NSW leaders to engage with professional organisational coaches, fostering continuous growth and development. IECL-trained coaches will participate in this initiative, refining their skills and offering their expertise, providing six sessions of virtual coaching sessions over the six-month program.

“We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity provided by IECL to participate in this year’s pro bono coaching program, which has offered 15 of our leaders at Cancer Council NSW the chance to receive individual coaching. Our leaders are enthusiastic about the experience and are looking forward to the insights, growth, and skills they will gain.” said Diana Tartaglia.

IECL has partnered with Cancer Council NSW since 2014, launching Communication and Coaching Skills programs. In 2023, re-igniting the relationship by redesigning and launching the Coaching & Conversations program for its leaders, and IECL continues to deliver this initiative.
