Challenge/Opportunity

The client required a fundamental enabler to maximise the capability and development of its leaders to deliver and sustain organisation-wide transformation. Coaching was that enabler!

Building a coaching culture and developing effective and consistent coaching capability across its Human Resources and business leaders would provide the leverage to weather internal and external influences namely talent pools reducing, turnover, growing and retaining talent. The new culture would also prepare and support aspiring, transitioning and high potential leaders for future roles.

Through a considered selection process, the client sought to partner with an experienced accredited provider to deliver a rigorous and certified pathway to building highly effective organisational coaching capability.

Solution

The client embarked on a careful participant identification process to select key influential leaders to undertake the program. The program delivered ICF (International Coaching Federation) aligned and highly practical foundational skills and capabilities to undertake effective coaching conversations.

The program consisted of:

  • self-paced online pre and post learning

  • 3 day workshop

  • co-coaching circles for continued practice

  • written reflective learning task to complete certification

Result/Outcome

  • Net Promoter Score of 100!

  • The participant cohort continued their learning journey by completing the next level of accredited training within 12 months.

  • Having experienced the impact of coaching, the client is now looking to upskill the wider Leadership groups across the business and to weave IECL coaching services in to a number of other major initiatives including the diversity and inclusion strategy
