The solution consisted of 3 phases:

  1. Diagnosis - Thorough briefing with team leader and individual scoping survey with all team members.

  2. Performance and Process - 3 facilitated team sessions:

  3. What does it mean to be a high performing team. Debrief of team survey results.

  4. Discovering team process - moving from two teams to one

  5. Creating team purpose and team charter

  6. Understanding and Aligning to the System - Interviews with key stakeholders and team debrief and coaching session.

Result/Outcome

  • Team cohesion

  • Developed collective purpose and buy-in

  • Developed team charter to support strategy delivery

  • Team awareness of strategic versus operational impact
