Gayatri has been working in coaching and leadership development for over two decades and is committed to enabling leaders to challenge and shift their mindset. Gayatri has lived and worked in India, China and in the USA and believes that it is this exposure and cultural understanding that has given her the ability to identify the underlying motivations, strengths and needs of an individual, thus enhancing her ability to engage with them in a meaningful and effective manner. Gayatri has worked with senior leaders with global responsibilities in organizations with differing ownership patterns, e.g., MNCs to family-run. Her industry and sector experience includes financial services, FMCG, IT & ITES, manufacturing, telecommunications, and hospitality.
COACHING STYLE AND APPROACH
Gayatri strongly believes that simplicity is the highest form of intelligence, and it is this belief that underpins her approach to coaching. She balances creating space to uncover underlying assumptions and beliefs with the need to move forward and action the change. Creating psychological safety enables having open and authentic conversations, which are core to the process of human transformation.
BUSINESS EXPERIENCE
Gayatri is a highly regarded specialist in executive coaching. She has also held senior business roles, including a multi-hat role for one organization - Managing Director of South Asia, and Operations Head for the Asia Pacific Region. Here she was responsible for the P&L and for leading a cross-functional team across multiple geographies. Gayatri has also led large change and leadership programs across APAC. Her work has ranged from developing individuals and teams, to cohorts of leaders in whole organizations.
